Paleontological Resource Assessment
The Bighorn Basin Paleontological Institute's mission includes the preservation of paleontological resources, and we've been doing just that since 2010. Our team of scientists, educators, museum professionals, and specialists has logged well over 75 years of combined experience in field and research paleontology. We are an ideal team to conduct paleontological resource assessments, mitigation and conservation projects for government agencies and industry clients. Our goal is to help our partners complete these task as effectively and efficiently as possible.
Our small staff and non-profit status ensure that our clients are receiving the most complete paleontological assessment services at the lowest possible cost. Contact us today to find out how we can help your projects stay on schedule.
The BBPI has worked closely with government agencies since 2010, regularly working under both BLM collecting and excavation permits. We are eager to help the public learn more about paleontological resources on their public lands!
